TelePeptide Health
Shipping Policy
Effective Date: June 3, 2026 · Last Revised: June 3, 2026
Compounded medications prescribed through TelePeptide are dispensed and shipped by our partner US-licensed 503A / 503B pharmacies. This policy describes their shipping practices on TelePeptide patients' behalf.
1. Overview
Compounded medications prescribed through TelePeptide are dispensed and shipped by US-licensed 503A and 503B compounding pharmacies in our partner network. TelePeptide does not itself dispense, store, or ship medications. This policy describes the shipping practices our partner pharmacies follow on TelePeptide patients' behalf.
2. Service Area
TelePeptide ships to physical addresses (no PO Boxes) in 48 US states and the District of Columbia. We do not ship to Alaska, Mississippi, US territories, or international addresses. The patient's state of residence is verified at intake; an FL/AK/MS resident, for example, cannot complete the intake flow. Shipments are released only to the address on file for the patient, validated by the dispensing pharmacy against its own state-licensing matrix.
3. Processing Time
After a clinician at MD Integrations, P.C. issues a prescription, the order is transmitted electronically to the assigned compounding pharmacy. Standard processing time at the pharmacy is 1-3 business days. Custom compounded preparations or formulations with backordered active ingredients may take longer; the patient is notified by secure message if processing exceeds 5 business days.
4. Carrier and Transit Time
Pharmacy partners use UPS, FedEx, or USPS Priority Mail depending on the medication, destination, and refrigeration requirement. Most non-refrigerated shipments arrive within 2-5 business days of leaving the pharmacy. Refrigerated medications (including most compounded GLP-1 preparations such as semaglutide and tirzepatide) ship via overnight or 2-day expedited service with cold-chain packaging.
5. Shipping Cost
Standard shipping is included in every TelePeptide program subscription price — patients do not pay extra for shipping on their regular fulfillment cycle. Expedited or special-handling shipments requested by the patient outside the normal cycle may incur an additional fee, quoted in advance.
6. Refrigerated Medications and Cold Chain
Compounded GLP-1 medications and other temperature-sensitive preparations ship with insulated cold-chain packaging and gel ice packs. Pharmacies use validated cold-chain methods designed to maintain 2-8 °C (36-46 °F) for the duration of standard transit. Patients should refrigerate the medication immediately upon receipt and follow the storage and beyond-use-date instructions printed on the label. If a refrigerated shipment is delayed in transit beyond 48 hours, contact help@telepeptide.org — do not use the medication if you suspect temperature excursion.
7. Tracking
Once a shipment is dispatched, the patient receives an email and (where SMS consent is on file) a text message with the carrier name and tracking number. Tracking is also visible in the patient portal under Prescriptions. Most carriers update tracking events at least once daily; please allow up to 24 hours after dispatch for the first scan to appear.
8. Signature Requirement
Pharmacy partners may require an adult signature (21+) on delivery for certain compounded medications. Carriers will attempt delivery up to three times. If delivery is unsuccessful after the third attempt, the package is returned to the pharmacy. Patients are responsible for ensuring an adult is available at the delivery address during the carrier's typical delivery window.
9. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Shipments
If a tracking number shows the shipment as delivered but the patient has not received it, contact help@telepeptide.org within 7 days of the delivery date. We will open a trace with the carrier and the pharmacy. If the carrier confirms the package as lost in transit, the pharmacy will dispense and ship a replacement at no cost to the patient. If a shipment arrives visibly damaged, photograph the packaging and the medication before opening further and email the photos to help@telepeptide.org within 48 hours — we will arrange a replacement at no additional cost.
10. Address Changes
Patients may update their shipping address from the Settings page in the patient portal, or by emailing help@telepeptide.org. Address changes received more than 3 business days before the next pharmacy fulfillment cycle take effect on the next shipment; address changes received closer to the cycle may apply to the shipment after that. Pharmacies cannot reroute packages already in transit; if an address change is urgent, contact the carrier directly with the tracking number.
11. International Shipping
TelePeptide does not ship outside the United States. Patients who relocate outside the US during an active program should pause or cancel their subscription from the Billing tab. Restarting service is contingent on the patient returning to a TelePeptide-served US state and re-establishing clinical eligibility.
12. Returns
Federal and state law prohibits the return and re-dispensing of patient-specific compounded preparations. We do not accept medication returns. If a shipment is defective or non-matching to the prescription, see Section 9 above for the replacement process.
