TelePeptide Health is committed to digital accessibility and to conforming with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the standard referenced under the ADA and Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act.
TelePeptide Health is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to our website and patient experience. We treat accessibility as an ongoing effort, not a one-time project.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA — the standard referenced by the U.S. Department of Justice under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and relevant to Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act, which applies to health programs and activities. We describe our current status honestly below and are actively working toward full conformance.
Our site is built with semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks; it is operable by keyboard with a visible focus indicator on interactive elements; it provides a "Skip to main content" link; images that convey meaning include text alternatives; form fields — including our intake questions — carry programmatic labels; we honor the operating-system "reduce motion" preference; and the layout is responsive and supports browser zoom and text resizing. We review the site with automated accessibility tooling and manual keyboard testing.
Part of the patient experience — the clinical intake questionnaire and the patient portal — is provided through our medical-group technology partner and embedded within our site. We choose vendors that share our accessibility commitment and we raise accessibility issues with them, but we do not control every aspect of third-party software. If you encounter a barrier in an embedded clinical step, contact us using the information below and we will help you complete the process by an alternative method.
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA — for example, certain downloadable documents (PDFs), color contrast on a small number of decorative elements, or embedded third-party components. Where we are aware of a limitation we are working to remediate it, and we will provide the information or service through an accessible alternative on request.
If you need assistance accessing any part of TelePeptide, or need information or a clinical service provided in an alternative accessible format or through auxiliary aids and services (for example, a screen-reader-friendly document, or help completing intake), we will provide it free of charge. We do not discriminate on the basis of disability. To request an accommodation or language assistance, email help@telepeptide.org and tell us how we can help.
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of TelePeptide. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please email help@telepeptide.org with the page address (URL), a description of the problem, and the assistive technology or browser you were using. We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within 5 business days. Mailing address: TelePeptide Health, 2077 Center Ave, Fort Lee, NJ 07024.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act. We take all accessibility concerns seriously and will work in good faith to resolve them.
